Gerrald began his financial services career with the Houston office of CIGNA Financial Advisors CIGNA in 1993. In 1994, Gerrald established a partnership with Michael Sandeen. In addition to his personal practice, Gerrald joined the Houston CIGNA management team as Regional Director of Financial Planning in 1997. When CIGNA was acquired by Lincoln Financial Advisors (LFA) in 1997 he became responsible for assisting the 40+ LFA consultants and senior consultants with the development of customized financial plans designed to meet specific client objectives.
Gerrald received a BA with honors from Washington & Lee University in 1981. Prior to joining CIGNA, he spent twelve years in the data and telecommunications industries with Burroughs, IBM and Siemens. Gerrald served on the Board of Directors of the Kiwanis Foundation of Houston from 1996 through 2001, including the last two years as president. He is a past president of the Washington & Lee Houston Alumni Chapter, and a past member of the Rhodes College Parents Council.
